Snowy User Experience With Google

Go to Google and search for “let it snow” for a chilled-out experience. After few seconds when your browser and all the text is frozen, notice the “search” button changing its text to “Defrost”.

And here’s the greatest part of the experience – you can actually “write” on the frozen screen and “share” the picture on Google+!

Nice.

Have a question though.
Throwing in or embedding one of these Easter eggs does sends a message that the company / brand is intelligent, young, fun… whatever… Are these efforts (of developing these things) actually planned for? Is an Easter egg a milestone in the Project Plan?

I would say it’s difficult to ‘plan’ the “now” and wow effect that’s months away, as a milestone. It’s another testimony to the robust, flexible architecture and technical brilliance, that would allow impromptu eggs on demand. My guess.
